Safety First with CMN Partner Walmart

Walmart is looking out for the safety of the kids in our community, especially when it comes to best practices for biking!

On June 10, clinical staff from Oishei Children’s Hospital arrived at Frank A. Sedita Academy to give out 125 helmets to kids in our community, all donated by Walmart! Families were taught about best practices for safe summer fun, including the importance of protecting your head with a well-fitted helmet during bike rides. Their 2nd safety event later in the summer resulted in 84 more helmets going to local kids.
